Originally from Luton, KiERaN has always had a strong passion for music that probably originates from his early soul and funk influences that were drummed into him as a child.
After spending some time in the music scene, Kieran decided to make a leap into the world of DJing when a good friend of his (Dave Johnys) lent him a pair of Technics 1210 turntables. Within a couple of months KiERaN thought he was ready to take his musical style to the masses when he played his first gig at B Festival in Cumbria. His set went down a storm and since then this young DJ has not looked back.
Since that first gig a B Festival KiERaN has become affiliated with Roberto and the pair have been working together on Kai-Zen events. The parties started in the infamous Public Life bar in Shoreditch but have since found their musical home in Inigo, Clapham.
2010 promises to be a very strong year Kai Zen with a bi monthly podcast secured with the likes of Samuel L Sessions, Deepchild and Aki Bergen in the first couple of shows.
KiERaN’s style of music is deep, tech house and generally anything with a groovy swing to it.
Some of his favourite labels include Mobilee, 8bit, Cecile, Diynamic, Murmur, Tsuba, and Freerange.
