Rebekah’s love affair with electronic music began at the tender age of 16, going out and listening to legends such as Dave Clarke, Derrick Carter, Richie Hawtin and Billy Nasty at Birmingham’s legendary Que Club. This gave Rebekah her first taste into the world of deep house and techno. Fifteen years on and Rebekah’s passion is still burning, she has been lucky enough to recently play at MOS, Fabric, Back to Basics, Public Life, Guendalina Italy, Coolhouse, Shindig, Awakenings and Exit to name a few. |
Things are already warming up for 2011 with dates lined up at Gatecrasher alongside Sasha, Silo alongside Phil Kieren & Tony Rohr, Public Life, The Russian, Exchange Club Ireland, and Cargo to name a few. After completing a Music Production Diploma at Access to Music has seen Rebekah’s music grow from strength to strength recording on labels Smut, FVF, Zool Muzik, Cubism, Intuito, Phobic, CSGas and Lowroom as well as German labels Criminal and KarateKlub. As her productions have gained quality recognition from established DJ’s has not gone unnoticed as Rebekah has signed a release to Dubfire’s label Sci+Tec forthcoming in 2011. Rebekah has joined the Akai Pro artist family where she has developed her LIVE set using Akai’s APC40, recently debuting at the DJ exhibition, BPM which is held at the NEC in Birmingham every year. This has been a long standing project taking performing to the next level with on the fly live mixing of her own produced music. Always looking for new ways to express herself through her music and college now complete, remixes and tracks are in production with a full time approach to music. Rebekah’s creativity and talent will no doubt be shining through in the foreseeable future. |
