Acquiring turntables was a natural progression for Bristol born vinyl junkie Owain_K (Owain Kimber) after discovering the delights of bootleg
mix-tapes and the UK Hardcore scene in 1991.

Hailing from a musical family and encouraged to play the violin & saxophone, Owain draws on a variety of influences from Soul and Jazz to Hip Hop and Punk. A principal he continues to express in his music and Dj sets.

Based in Cardiff (Wales, UK), Owain can be found playing regularly at Milgi Lounge, Gwdihw and C.A.I having performed at various clubs around the U.K., Europe and Asia over the last decade.

Thanks to Mark Broom at Pure Plastic, ADSR Music was founded as a label in 2004 for Owain and long time friend, Chris Poacher. Recording as “Digital Motion” the duo have had a string well received releases under their belt.

The lest few years have seen Owain working on various other studio projects, recording alongside Jamie Anderson (Artform/Rekids/Dessous) as well as producing his own solo material.

With releases on Dessous Recordings, Outland, Elevation, Loudeast and Blacksoul, he has recently remixed for Kevin Yost's I! Records and has plenty more in store for the year to come with new material lined up for Dessous, Pokerflat and Catapult Records...
