Kontrol Room Bio

Kontrol Room comprises of DJs & Producers Chris Page and Dave Johnys. Brought together by being part of the Kai-Zen team in London, they found themselves billed back to back. They both use the Traktor DJ software, and didn't want to do another "1 track each" club set. So, following inspiration from Chris Liebing & Speedy J's Collabs outfit, an idea was born. A live set up comprising of 2 mixers, laptops, various midi controllers and a synth was devised. After a dummy run, they hit London and turned many heads, mainly due to the amount of equipment in tow! However, the sets that followed drew many kind words and it was decided that the collaboration should be made more permanent.
Dubbed "Kontrol Room" by those commenting on the amount of equipment used, a new outfit was born.
