The love and passion for music started with Dirk at the end of the 70s early 80s. Even then, he was fascinated by bands like Heaven 17, Human League, Depeche Mode, Yello and Kraftwerk, which through the use of synthesizers and electronic drums, the popularity of electronic music influenced significantly.
In the early 90s he came into contact with turntables and mixer and was immediately intrigued by these new opportunities. He learned in that time, the mix of vinyl and began in the years '91 - '93 to organize his own Events.
Since 1998 Dirk ist regulary as Dj on the road and booked in Clubs regionally and nationally. His musical preferences are deep, melodic and hypnotic sounds, which he presents not only from the belly, but also from the heart, that's the premise of the Stuttgart sound modeler.
A thoroughly impressive and experimental style that has always fascinated the audience by Dirk.
In addition to numerous bookings regionally and nationally at the time Dirk has a residence with its own event series "METROFUNK"in the small but excellent basement club Climax Institutes in Stuttgart. there he is every eight weeks to hear with alternating guest DJ's.
