| Roberto's Bad Omen OUT NOW! Including remixes from Guy Mantzur & Sahar Z and David Chong |
![]() |
Roberto - Bad Omen After spending the early part of 2010 accumulating support from the likes of Samuel L Sessions, Steve Rachmad, and Laurent Garnier (amongst a plethora of others), Roberto has now been picked up by
Asymmetric Recordings. As the title would suggest, Bad Omen is a simmering and dark tribal workout, with a heavy punchy bassline reminiscent of Alex Flatner and Silvio Ecomo. Driving synth stabs pepper the percussion, and the separate elements eventually converge on eachother to produce a scintillating climax that will enthrall techno connoisseurs as much as it will tech-house enthusiasts. Leading the charge on the remix front, Guy Mantzur and Sahar Z take it into the main room with a huge riff stemming from the breakdown. Fans of Guy J and the like will almost certainly find favour with this rendition. Finalising what is already an outstanding release, David Chong takes things into calmer territories, yet still retains the energy of the original. Deep and tech-house fanatics will love the melodic soundscapes and luscious warm feel of Davids interpretation, and delicate vocal snippets tie the remix together perfectly. In its entirety, Bad Omen is an EP for all occasions, and yet another bonafide smash from the blossoming Israeli record label. Tracklist 1. Roberto - Bad Omen (Original Mix) 2.
