We promised we’d be back, and we don’t break our promises.
The Kai-Zen team has been enjoying the (very few) rays of sunshine, and are ready to serenade you once again with House & Techno from the top shelf. We’ve bid farewell (for now) to our old Inigo stomping ground, and are heading to pastures new over in the vibrant midst of Shoreditch. We had quite a few options available to us in terms of venue, but there was only one that fit the bill. So for our October instalment, we’re heading underground for some toilet shinanigans, and taking the party to Public Life.
Heading up our soiree will be Dan Perrin from Cargo’s superb StayinUp events. Dan’s been bringing London the cream of the electronic crop for some time now, enlisting prolific artists like Gavin Herlihy, Makam, Burnski, Spencer Parker, & Leif to fire up proceedings. We’re really chuffed to have him down to make his debut for
Kai-Zen, and even more so seeing as though he’s bringing his new resident Michaels down to join him on the bill. Some of you will remember him from our March instalment, and we’re more than happy to show him some love after his last barnstorming performance.
Our good friend Paul Coleman (himself no stranger to performing impeccably for Kai-Zen, last December), will also be joining us once again and as always, the Zen residents will be on hand to warm up/wrap up the evening. It’s also worth mentioning that Dave & Chris will be sporting more equipment than a nuclear test facility for their Kontrol Room traktor-abusing techno double act, and as well as this, it’s Andy’s birthday, so show him some attention... he’s getting old and probably won’t last much longer.
Entry is a fiver all night, so we won’t relieve you of Liberia’s deficit before you’ve even hit the bar, and we run from 7pm til 2am.
Looking forward to seeing you there troops...
