|Kai-Zen @ Inigo - Friday 28th May 2010|
|After our barnstorming one-off at Farringdon’s superb Fluid venue, we’re back on home turf again for our May bank holiday event on Friday 28th. A newly-refurbished Inigo will play host to our best line-up to date, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t just a little bit excited about what’s coming.
Leading the charge for our headline double-hitter, we’ve drafted in Miss Cler Lever, a massively talented young DJ and instigator of Liverpool’s techno-pioneering Rhumba clubnight. Under the Rhumba banner, she’s hosted events with the likes of such heavy-hitters as James Ruskin, Ben Klock, Patrice Baumel and Super Flu, and it’s no surprise that she was picked to play the mainstage at Creamfields as a result of her incredible dexterity behind the turntables.
Along with Cler, we’re extremely pleased to welcome our friend from the inimitable Lost Souls brand; the one and only XI. As a firm purveyor of everything techno, XI has been heavily involved with the London underground dance scene for years. His passion for endorsing class forward-thinking electronica has led to warm-ups for more A-Listers than we care to mention (Mark Broom is his latest), and it’s fitting that we should have such a well-respected local hero down for Kai-Zen… a night that has always been focused on bringing you the best in house & techno.
Joining our usual bunch of rowdy residents is our Oxford-based friend Angie Walter. By her own admission, she’s still relatively new to the DJ scene, but her rapid ascent to recognition amongst the Oxford clubbing community should tell you all you need to know about her musical talent. Get down early and watch her prove us right.
As always, entry is free before 11pm, if you get your name on the guestlist. Until then, enjoy the rest of May, and we’ll see you on the dancefloor………
